Kate Dwyer ~ oMoT Kate is an occupational therapist and professional member of the American Occupational Therapy Association. Along with a background in massage therapy, Kate is a Yoga Alliance trained yoga teacher.
She attended the University of Maine and received a Bachelors degree in Child Development with a concentration in Individual and Family Studies and a minor in Psychology. After several years working as a Licensed Massage Therapist, Kate went back to school and received a Masters in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern Maine. Kate began practicing yoga in 1999, and her passion for the holistic practice grew and became entwined with her occupational therapy practice. Combining a love of occupational therapy and yoga, omOT was born. Kate’s vision is for yoga and occupational therapy to blend seamlessly into an integrative health care practice aimed at working with clients in a holistic manner. |
